R59, I was in a biotech back in 2016
I can't remember the ticker, but I believe the company had a drug to treat high potassium levels. Only one other company had a drug for that at the time, and it was FDA approved. However the competitors drug was not as effective according to phase 3 results of the company I owned. My stock went from $24 to $12 for no reason, and my average cost was $18. When the stock came back to $18, I sold, as every upgrade seemed to result in a sell off, and the stock wouldn't go up no matter what. I figured something had to be wrong. Two weeks later, I got a phone call from a friend congratulating me about my stock having been bought out at $34(I believe). I had 20,000 shares when I sold at $18. GERN is acting exactly like that stock did.
You know Re, when I let stock action dictate my buy sell decisions, it's generally a bad choice. GERN has a great drug. Maybe someone knows something, and maybe not, but I am holding on to all shares at this point, as I still believe they'll get bought out eventually.
