Judge: "Defendant Peter Michaels utilized funds from plaintiff paid to Defendant Hop-On, Inc. for personal expenses. The banking records....do not demonstrate that it was involved in any business pursuit......had no intention to secure the product for Plaintiff."


Just saw this post about the CEO stealing money from HPNN investors to pay his own expenses and to fuel his lifestyle.
HPNN still has not paid the Plaintiff back - This originally was around $90K he stole. Now, with interest, it is over $180K HPNN owes.
In his financial disclosure he says he will seek to settle. Fun fact - once you lose in court and the judge says you owe the money stolen, settling is no longer an option. He is lucky they didn't go after him for felony wire fraud.
I'd guess he is doing it again, since it looks like he and HPNN are flat broke.
