Thank you for this post from the perspecive that you have as a large investor with access to management. I have for a while thought that the best time invest in biotech is after an event such as this. Hiccups happen often. I expect the vulture lawyer bar will start the de riguor of advertizing their firms as "investigating" securities violations. Yada Yada Yada.
In the end Outlook will likely market this innovation.
A 16% short interest will likely cause a dead cat bounce. But the Cat for the reasons you stated might very well survive.
The issues of funding while might be available as debt financing as you say a protarted timeline might lead to reverse split or delisting.
In hind sight one might be neither long or short going into one of these binary events but rather short the squeeze on approval and buy back and go long when price stablizes and is based on execution/commerialization risk or alternatavely accumulate after the CRL when company left for dead after the lawsuit advertizing news cycle. I expect the scum lawyers to start the "Investigation Advertizements" to begin tomorrow and last about four months.
I am always surprized by small companies like this not speading the risk with a larger Pharma going into a binary event.
