Nioman, just for clarification.
I read “ Since 1992, EXIM has generated more than $9 billion for the U.S. Treasury for repayment of U.S. debt.“!
Don’t quite well understand. Does it mean they created income of 9 Billion ( over and above the debt) for repayment to the US Treasury or does it mean they created 9 billion debt to be repaid but not repaid yet? Maybe it’s me, but I feel it’s a confusing sentence.
By the way, as somebody already mentioned, EXIM has been given a new lease on life and charter as part of the MAGA to counter foreign countries subsidy programs.
