This news hasn't really came across the wires yet, but NioCorp has just filed an updated Amendment to their Form S-3 with the SEC.

Because I am a glutton for punishment and enjoy reading corporate prospectuses, I'll point out some key data that is revealed within:

YA II PN, Ltd. (Yorkville Advisors) owns 6,824,560 NioCorp shares.
Dean Kehler owns 3,809,953 NioCorp shares.
Mark Smith owns 2,226,795 NioCorp shares.

Note: Yorkville owns 17.62% of NioCorp (!!)

To all the naysayers who accuse Yorkville of being the reason for our drop in share price, I'll point out this tidbit buried deep in the document:

Additionally, Yorkville Advisors (YA) has represented to us that, during the period commencing as of the time that YA first contacted the Company or the Company’s agents regarding the specific investment in the Company contemplated by the Yorkville Convertible Debt Financing Agreement and ending immediately prior to the execution of the Yorkville Convertible Debt Financing Agreement, YA has not directly or indirectly, nor has any person acting on behalf of or pursuant to any understanding with YA, engaged in any transactions in the securities of the Company (including, without limitation, any short sale involving the Company’s securities).

Key takeaways: It appears Yorkville isn't responsible for the current drop in share price due to selling off their investment - by shorting or through regular sales.

When I get some more time, I'll do a deep dive on some of the other individual shareholders listed. I don't recognize many of the names and I'm curious what their affiliation to NioCorp is. FWIW, I personally own more shares than many of them and I'm wondering what they did to get included on this list. (And yes - I did notice some of the names sound Belgian 😉)
