The movie-theater's APE units began trading in 2022 on the New York Stock Exchange to help the company raise capital to help pay off its debt.



So, I thought this was genius of them at the time. What went wrong since? It's not like AMC is GME, a trend that has gone the way of the dinosaur. Movies are still a real industry and ticket prices have risen incredibly.

Just my opinion, of course.
