My buddy advising me all these years on Mirage has this to say:

"So AMLO has a very contentious relationship with the press. And he very frequently does this where he just lies about things he has said or done in the past.

So I am pretty sure Michael is right. But it is a little disheartening to see it in action. But it is kind of par for the course and a byproduct of him holding these daily press conferences and the press constantly trying to correct him.

But if the president is a liar about something almost everyday. Then how do you know what to actually believe when his permission and decisions are so important to this project.”


The number of people involved with this deal from the government and their level of importance is very significant. They would not have gotten themselves involved if they thought it was some kind of sham. Could the tables get turned, sure, but I dont think so. If anyone talks to Ward this week please report back I would love to hear what he tells you (as much as you are willing to share).

I am confident where things are headed. I maintain a buy under a nickel, if things stretch out to the end of the two weeks, then it could slip down under 4, but in the end it wont matter.
