Despite these losses, Canopy’s overall net revenue grew 3% year-over-year to CA$108.7 million, largely attributed to its BioSteel unit, which saw sales grow 137% year-over-year to CA$32.5 million in the first quarter. However, BioSteel continued to contribute to the company’s overall losses, making up approximately 60% of its negative adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA).
