that is the HOPE ---- that there is a major -- or 100% write down or "deemed paid announcement" -- on the LP
Indeed if there were no LP obligation --- the PPS would start to approach say 50% of the valuations various people have posted
OR ---- I have not looked hard enough at the detail of the "earnings" used in those various valuations over 100B etc.
Do those calculations assume the 10% --- or is that (as would be normal) - from (or post) profit as a dividend
I ask anyone who does those valuations the following question
What if Fannie Pays pays the 10% and its viewed as an expense ---- how much profit per year on average is left ??
I ask as the GOV could ? - maybe - agree to not want to cash in its LP/SP --- but rather take its 10% in real cash for say 25 years ?
What might the PPS be with that dividend obligation but 1B shares ??
