8 million shares is not a sell off just continued selling that occurs if it’s going up or down. People taking 100-200% profits don’t care which way it’s going.
Personally I wouldn’t tout resumed talks about an acquisition that needlessly raises chatter about dilution and just announce the deal and terms if it happens.
