The foundation is set for expanding "production capacity" at Prodigy. It took a while to ensure capacity could meet demand, but, by the looks of it, KBLB is one final "tweak" away from being able to have the capacity needed to fulfill that demand. They aren't just expanding for the hell of it. They're expanding with the knowledge of how much capacity they need!

Prodigy is the egg production facility. The reason they have to expand capacity is to be able to do a double hybrid cross. Like I have said before, they need to keep six separate lines of worms going to produce the final hybrid eggs to send to GSS or any other contractor. They aren't going to have any higher output of commercial eggs at the end but they are going to need to expand Prodigy to do the double hybrid.

This is just another play on words by KBLB to make you believe that actual production is expanding. Don't fall for it again.
