This is the fourth cycle of higher highs and higher lows. A look at the three month chart makes the clear case for “The simplest explanation is usually the best one”.
When the Relative Strength Index (RSI) reaches overbought “70” the buyers pullback the bids until the RSI reaches 50, Neutral or lower towards 30 oversold.
When it’s determined to have cooled off they return and take it back higher until it hits RSI 70.
