I really can only take personal experience and use it in my own trials and tribulations.
It is all any of us can do. I know a bit of your history, as you have shared it here and at another board. You would be surprised to know that we have much in common. I won't get into specifics, but I will say, Cupid has played cruel tricks on me and John Barleycorn was my best friend for a good amount of time. And all the other corresponding attitudes , emotions and vices have run their course. Policemen? Ha!!
More than a few knew mw on sight. LOL!!
But, it passed and I am now a relatively sane 75 year old calmly riding out the rest of my time. So, I suppose whatever you may have to say, I can feel ya.
Time for this old man to take a nap. Until then.
