R59 re VIRC you should check again and/or call up TDA because I don't have trade restrictions on VIRC. I just did a test order to check and I had no problem placing an order online:

"Your limit order to Buy 1000 VIRC at 4.00 was received. Your order number is: 11372851369. View Trading Schedule."

I mean unless its b/c I already own VIRC so they don't consider it 'an opening' transaction.
