I got email from ST rep yesterday reference posting of shares of GWGO. My acct also shows shares in gainskeeper but not on my market position. The following is a cut and paste of their response.
Thank you for your email. Other brokers may credit the shares in good
faith or they may have actually received the new shares from the
transfer agent. When a company undergoes a forward stock split, the
company really issues a stock dividend of 1:1. Scottrade does not credit
the shares to our clients' accounts until we actually receive the shares
from the transfer agent. We will allow you to sell these stocks before
they are credited to your account. This order has to be placed with a
broker and you will receive the internet rate. We have to disclose that
if the company were to change the terms of the agreement, you will be
held responsible.
