I believe that an additional possibility is interested parties are biding their time with the idea that IPIX will go bankrupt and B can be picked up for a song. This could also explain the persistent fear peddling mercenaries who to this day seem to believe calling investors fools, bag holders, gullible, and a stream of other insults is an effective strategy in convincing people to throw in the towel,

The Beamed investment may turn out to have been a brilliant strategic move in keeping the jackals at bay. IPIX is laying low while letting others determine B's potential while Beamed moves steadily toward producing a revenue stream.

I don't think Leo's primary focus is on providing an income from a dwindling pile. While the short term money may seem like Leo's purpose I think his real goal is to be the guy who found, acquired, and brought to market a life saving and life changing drug.
