I took a small position here today. As info there is tick called the Lone Star tick. It is tiny and has a Yellow spot on its back about 6 months after you get bit you can not eat meat for between 1 and 20 years. I was bitten about 2 years ago and only after 1 1/2 years could I eat meat or even have a bacon bits on my salad. No meat on the hoof beef, lamb, pork, venison etc or you may die. I only screwed up twice so I'm good now. Why it hard to diagnose is that it takes 6 hours after you eat to see the symptoms.
So I was forced to eat beyond burgers. I got by on fish, chicken, turkey emu and alligator.
The tick is now from Main to Texas, I saw 3 more this year so they are becoming much more prevalent.

That is my reason.

OK now for the funny, I just submitted a patent for Beyond Broccoli it is made from meat. Ba-Dump-Bump
