I was just curious. I am not sure why folks are imagining that if they have an "Accredited Investor" status somehow they can buy CTs and/or other flavors of securities of LBHI from some 'privileged brokerage access'. This is so far from truth. Yes, one could buy pre-IPO stock by directly participating in any 'capital raise round' of a company selling its stock in a 'pre-IPO round offering' . The only way someone could buy some 'new stock' flavor of Lehman is only if LBHI specifically raises money in such an 'Equity offering' and by selling to Accredited Investors 'by Invite'. But with LBHI currently in BK, I do not foresee any such thingtill it 'emerges' from BK. Also, at that time it would have to disclose such an Event through an 8-K, as LBHI is a 'Public company' and any such 'Private Placement' is a 'Material Event'. For companies not yet public, they need not disclose such 'capital raises' publicly, as they do not have any Retail shareholders.
