Have you ever done Jury Duty?
I'm not sure exactly when these fine folks will find out they are going to spend the next 2+ weeks deciding a contract case involving the Mortgage Banking Industry, but I would imagine a little disappointment from some of the Jurors when they find out.
I was on a jury for one criminal trial and in the pool for one civil. The civil trial was a factual situation somewhat similar to this one. A contract dispute between a couple of large Tyson's corner companies. Before jury selection started, the judge explained that this case was likely to go at least a couple of weeks and asked whether or not you could be available that long. And some of the people had commitments like being a care provider, etc. and were excused.
I am "cautiously pessimistic" and again berate those on the this board that did not want a bench trial. Same jury pool - same result. However, looking at the Nats in 2019 I guess anything is possible. I also said our Supreme Court Case was a 6-3 slam dunk. So what do I know?
