There was very much a campaign that kept pointing to GVSI having a CIK number with the implication that it was an SEC filer.
Why the heck would folk keep saying CIK! CIK! CIK! in many repeated posts?
Umm, every ticker has a CIK whether SEC filing or not.
Warren Buffett personally has a CIK. Guess what? He doesn't file personal 10-K's.
Having a CIK is a nothingburger - it absolutely does not reflect if something is a current SEC filer.
It was an attempt to fool folk that did not know better into thinking GVSI had much better credentials than it did - that it was filing according to SEC and their audit standards. Which it was not.
It was alternative filing, yes - "at the time". I seem to be up to speed quite fine, thanks. The quote at the top is from May 4, and here are the filings.
