Turkey-United Arab Emirates, 13 agreements worth 50 billion

Turkey's Communications Directorate announces that as a result of President Erdogan's visit to the United Arab Emirates and the agreements reached, the parties have advanced relations to the level of strategic partnership.

Turkey and the United Arab Emirates signed and ratified today 13 agreements in various fields worth 50.7 billion dollars, on the sidelines of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's visit to the United Arab Emirates.

This is what Turkey's Communications Directorate announced today, adding that both sides have agreed on the creation of a "High Level Strategic Council" to be chaired by the President of Turkey and the President of the United Arab Emirates.

"As a result of the agreement, our relations with the United Arab Emirates have been raised to the level of strategic partnership," says the Directorate of Communications.

The parties also decided to advance existing cooperation in areas such as energy, transport, infrastructure, logistics, e-commerce, finance, health, food, tourism, real estate, construction, defense industry, artificial intelligence and advanced technologies.
