This was an obvious move by them, how else are they going to effectuate a large acquisition? So far it is being viewed negatively just based on the price action. Obviously there will be a lot of dilution, but time will tell once acquisition is announced whether it will be successful or not. I'm guessing it will add a lot of revenue but always tough situation with the share price not cooperating (not yet).
