Just wanted to say that I think admin made the right decision as far as how the rules were recently adjusted. Prior to the rule changes, some mods would utilize their discretionary power in order to keep the narrative in alignment with their own trading agenda. Entire mobs of mods conducted themselves in such a manner and as a result they unilaterally stifled open discussion and discouraged discourse, which ultimately threatened the longevity of this website with decreasing activity. The rule changes seem to have liberated the discussions quite a bit and as a result people, mods in particular, now have to back up their statements rather than hide behind the strong-arm of an inconsistently applied subjective TOS agreement. The chief complaint regarding the rule changes seems to be the increased leniency toward personal attacks. Please, this isn't grade school. If someone resorts to a personal attack (ad hominem) instead of addressing a company's shortcomings, learn how to redirect the debates back to the issues at hand. Plain and simple. That's debate 101.
