I would ask the idjit government : when is the last time the GSE's took a draw? Remember that fiasco? It's been many years! How do you justify a never ending conservatorship when no money is being used from the government and/or taxpayers for many years. Even when a draw was done way back, it was forced.
The whole back stop thing is a farce and a joke at this point, with approx 100 billion between the two.
