Do you people realize how many years it will take to obtain financing, plan, and construct this project?
just look at Saudi Arabia’s Sakaka solar project. The 300 MW project took about 2 years. That is just construction.
BOPO is hugely optimistic to get this project started in a few months. That will NOT happen.
It might take until mid 2024 to get the appropriate financing (I.e. billions of dollars).
Then it will take a few years to get this project started, installed, and completed.
BOPO will not see any revenues until 2027 at the earliest.
JMO but I don’t think I will be too far off.
