WEX makes a lot of sense if your leader is disabled and unable to lead. Makes for quite a dysfunctional environment, I imagine, with the other 3 feeling totally powerless to act. If that same leader was the one who picked the rest of the team, they might be of questionable quality to be in charge of a mining company too.
