Before social media, you could just completely forget that someone existed.

Ha! I actually find that on social media you have an easier and more complete experience of "forgetting that someone exists". In general, I'm pretty thick skinned and tolerant. I just "mentally" ignore most ridiculousness. When it gets to the point of aggravating me - "ignore" or "block".

I mean, as an Admin, I often block someones PMs when they just want to argue. It takes a lot of nonsense for me to go the full ignore route on iHub. But, on personal social media, absolutely zero interest in wasting my time.

Iow, I'd LOVE an ignore feature in real life!
