As the highest speed part I suspect these will be quite rare. I think the only people who will buy them are upgraders with an existing socket, so really can't choose a core 2 product anyway... and the price is such that it is cheaper than a core 2 + motherboard.

With regards to the single core parts, the prices on those seem very high also, and I see that as a problem. Intel will be releasing the Millville single core celeron core products fairly soon, and they will be priced much lower and be higher performing.

At the Q4 CC AMD said they are currently at about 30% dual core IIRC, so they still have a way to go before they catch INTC on dual core percentages... in a rapidly changing environment.
