I view the recent announcement of a change in direction for the company as a declaration by Chan that his current company failed and he is starting a new one. So I think it is fair to say Chan sold one business for profit and bombed on the next one. The fate of the newly announced third, is yet to be determined, but he is getting a very late start to the AI game. I had hoped he was already training some algorithms using PU data (he has talked like he may have been). But it seems Positioning Universal said no to future partnerships and Chan had to go out and find Prolog as a replacement. Problem is Prolog seems to be to be a company that is withering and not growing (PU is on fire!, using AI and integrating with cameras for a few years now).
