Wow !!

Thanks for that update Janice - when I get a lil time here I want to read the formal complaint in detail :)

PS: Mark Allen Miller of this NWGC con and shell hi-jacker fiasco scam - he's appealing his sentence. "The SEC" was likely per the news - to finish him off ...re their civil suit, now that his criminal case concluded.

Given he's now going to appeal (likely the dude is going to be BK in legal costs IMO - by the time this is all said and done but he sounds desperate to stay out of CLUB FED..aka "doing time" locked up) ..but given the criminal case appeal... I'm wondering if THE SEC will hold-off on their civil case concluding until they see how his criminal appeal plays out ?

There's the docket and initial filing - to the Eight Circuit appellate court for Mark Allen Miller criminal case.

Below was his final sentencing - the infamous ONE YEAR + ONE DAY which is an entire legal reason why a judge tacks on that one day.

I haven't had a chance to read or find out if the appellate or district court and prosecutors are going to request/demand Miller be "formally monitored" (ankle bracelet, surrender passport blah blah) while pending appeal ?

His "partner in crime" was deemed a flight risk so that guy was essentially on formal parole while his entire case played out - no fly, no passport, no travel w/o notifying the FEDS, monitored formally, etc.

No matter what happens - Miller IMO will get "Parole" (likely 2 yrs) and do some "time" - thus his life is trashed forever as a now convicted Federal white collar criminal. One can't flip burgers at a Burger King these days w/o passing a security background check.

What business, company etc wants to hire a dude who's "skill" - was sophisticated ways to commit theft and rip-off people, businesses, etc. The single biggest losses to almost any biz (and especially retail) - come from the "inside" and thus the LAST person they want to hire is some ex-con with sticky fingers and a taste for serial theft !

MILLER....it's not so funny once he's been caught and now doesn't want to go to the Federal pen - what's that oldest of old saying.....

"DON'T DO THE CRIME...IF YOU CAN'T DO THE TIME"......tough guys ain't so tough once they get caught....eh...:))
