This morning Chicago was labeled most polluted city in world on our tv news. While the smoke wouldn't be fun to experience, one comment which put it into some health context anyway was that breathing Chicago air was like smoking seven cigarettes a day. As a guy who smoked 75 regularly every day for over a year while hitting 100 on fun days, hearing health hit as seven a day eased some concern somewhat. When Toronto was mentioned a couple of weeks ago as bad i called a sister there who said, " Well when i go outside i can see the haze." Even in spite of the photos you posted earlier I'm wondering if the media is blowing it up a bit.
Have our Chicago friends made any comment on the smoke there? Come in Chicago.
It was Plato who said, “He, O men, is the wisest, who like Socrates, knows that his wisdom is in truth worth nothing”
