I am guessing the value of some of their assets went up. Let us not forget this was a very successful bank that had a bank run. Depositors brought the company down.

The bank was not able to sell assets as it would be taking a big loss on assets with long term maturities. Those assets must have gained in value over the last few months. Short may not prevail in the short term. Could hit $2 to $4 easily before going down.
