EPA = Envrionmental Protection Agency
CARB = Air Resources Board of California

In order to sell any aftermarket product in the State of California you must have a CARB Exemption Order Number.
Obviously, if Aero is selling there they must have gotten one.
However, a CARB EO# does not verify that a device reduces pollution or increases fuel economy. It only verifies that a device does not harm the emission efficiency of an engine.

It is too bad AERO never went that one step further and got the EPA/CARB certified lab to verify the fuel economy.
