Here's an opposing view

Not very opposing. I've read the Forbes article AND the SEC filing. Sabby Management is even mentioned in the link I originally posted, and if anything, the SEC filing confirms that, speaking metaphorically, proof a fire was set by an arsonist is NOT proof of a conspiracy to burn down the city.

But, hey, if a pink stock has business problems or perhaps no business at all, blaming rampant naked shorting is one way to deflect blame WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO PROVIDE ONE WHIFF OF PROOF.
