I just got back from seeing Asteroid City. I don't get it. I know Wes Anderson likes to do some "different stuff", but this movie got an A in the newspaper and Rotten Tomatoes critics gave it 76%, but I don't get it. I only wish the spousal_unit was there with me to tell me what a waste of time that was.
I'd like to give it a pickle, but I might not be able to sleep at nights thinking someone thinks they should see it based on my rave reviews.

Here! Read these critics reviews for yourself. Even the ones who claim to have liked it seemed to really not.
I guess my summary would be, "if you like Wes Anderson movies, well this is a movie".
I should have waited for the dollar theater to get it.
