Definitely a step in the right direction, appreciate you and team taking our feedback and putting it on paper for us.

On the flip side as well, we have Users that just don't understand why someone saying "That's a naive statement" isn't a personal attack.

that's not a personal attack.

"that's an incorrect statement"

"that's an untrue statement"

if we use that thinking (personal attack?) then any explicit disagreement would be construed as a personal attack. That is not my intention with the rules change and hopefully that can be clarified or I'll have to send up additional suggestions.

I don't think caving in to that behavior benefits anyone. Expect all boards to become cesspools of insulting screaming matches.

Homebrew - if you don't like the rule changes , there's other boards you can check and make suggestions down stream on how to do it better. However, I reckon you won't based on your track record on the premium boards :)
