My hunch is that your points are valid. But you come up with assertions and not much evidence. If the information presented had been true there is a lot of cash and it is increasing a lot during the first quarter. One gets the impression that not much cash is required to grow fast. Hence cash dividends are natural to incrase the very low current credibility. If there are substantial cash dividends paid over several quarters it would convince the stock market that the company generates a lot of profit I guess. Almost all companies would like to see their fair value or more reflected in the stock price I think.
