I'm 69 1/2 and cataracts are beginning a new life adventure July 7. Red dots are nice if you can handle carrying a pistol fitted with it. I have them on all of my AR weapons and one tactical shot gun. Red dots are a bit bulky on my 9's so I use combat sights on most of them. I like the stock Smith 686 sights and keep them I use American Brand shoulder holsters and Alien Gear owb with leather inards and molded outter. I am beginning to like the Viet Nam era single point harness for the AR. 2 point for shotgun. Wilson Combat highlights a few answers we old timers may seek. About 8 minutes
