There's a big difference between manipulation and shorting. It's easy to manipulate a sub penny stock. Anyone can do it. But shorting a sub penny is just about out of the question. I know some say they have off shore accounts that allow them to short without the big up front money that Etrade requires. But I would not believe them until a saw their account page showing the short And if someone was shorting, even with an off shore broker, it would still show up on the OTC retail short page. There has been very few shares showing up on that report page for years now.
