I did software engineering and architecture for over 20 years. Rarely have I found that important for an investing decision. I've programmed in java,c,c++,objective c,visual basic, c#, scala,python and others. I'm pretty sure I'm the most technically capable on this board and yet I use simple spreadsheets with basic formulas for modeling and analysis.

What should I be doing instead?
