Why do you believe him in 2017?

Maybe he didn’t need 100 kilos of silk, but if he had it, I’m guessing he could have found someone who wanted samples and someone who wanted to make some prototypes. You don’t think Polartec wanted 100 kilos of silk to make some prototypes?

After all, once he got into Vietnam in 2019, the spider silk spigot was going to open and start cranking out those metric tons. Oops.
