A standard practice of MM/algo is to put huge ask size to force all weak hands to sell. That way they clear all potential sellers at each price point . Then they will start putting big bid sizes to move the pps up.

Fools argue to win, so stay away from them and still say Thank you.
Smart people argue to seek the truth and say "Thank You" when they find that they are wrong.
