The Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, has emphasized that Albania has become an attractive country for large companies to invest, especially in the energy sector.
At the international conference on open public procurement and the implementation of best practices, Balluku clarified the reasons why Albania is absorbing more and more investments, namely transparency and the reduction of bureaucracy for both local and foreign investors.
"Albania has become an attractive country for large companies due to transparency and reduction of bureaucracies. The most attractive sector for investments is that in the field of energy and infrastructure. This happens because we have created transparency and security for companies, as well as cut red tape for investors," said Balluku.
Balluku also spoke about the government's ambitions in increasing renewable energy capacities until 2029. The energy sector and infrastructure remain the most dynamic sectors of the country's economy.
