Please help me understand why settlement of the court cases will affect stock price.

It has nothing to do with valuation, and the only real positives are:

- More time/money to focus on sales, rather than litigation.

- Partnerships that were previously hindered by lawsuits can now be re-visited.

Stocks go up because VALUE goes up, not because court cases are settled.

The stock, and your hopes, should stay in check until they sell something and increase revenue.
