Dumb investing exists. Consider day trading and penny stocks, or going 100% cash except in dire emergency.

Some money advice is Solid Gold, or perhaps Solid Platinum Dumb. We know a divorced mother who owes $100,000 on her daughter's education to become a "makeup artist." You encounter unbelievable stories like that in tabloids, but they exist.

Odd thing is the kid had mostly A's in high school. Stupidity exists.... like an experienced investor broadcasting that he can time good markets and bad from his reading of the daily news, IHUB scuttlebutt or from charts.
