Hmmmmmmm........ GME's 8-K filed with the SEC yesterday refutes those statements. The filing clearly states it was a "termination" as Furlong was "terminated" pursuant to a "separation and release agreement" under which Furlong released any and all claims against the company. In other words, he was fired and they paid him some severance pay to resolve any outstanding issues.

In an after-hours smear campaign with falsified information, the media has been lying that CEO Matt Furlong was "terminated."
