Here's one for you.
I was working with a girl financially struggling going through nursing school. I had her open an account with 550.00 and buy 5 milly shares of a tripple .0001 stock.
I told her to hold it and it would pay for her nursing school and then some. As it kept going up she would call me every now and then, (I left that job) and tell me she was short 500.00 or 300.00 for rent or this or that. I would figure out how much she needed to sell and walk her through the transaction as she knew NOTHING.
One day she couldn't reach me so she called the broker. He put the sell in for her. While he was at it he put the fear into her...she was up alot .004 A week later she liquidated the entire account as he had called her back to see how she was doing. After that she missed out as the company later went to .03.
