Wondering if sales are slow with the economy the way it is. People on fixed incomes may not be able to afford "big ticket" purchases. I know my elderly mother-in-law is struggling, especially with doctor bill co-pays that aren't hearing-related. I think if she had hearing issues she'd probably avoid dealing with it just because of the expense.

Basic Medicare does not cover any hearing aids, whether OTC or prescribed. They'd need to have part C coverage, which is optional. For whatever reason, a lot of seniors aren't taking advantage of this coverage. There may be rules on which hearing devices are covered, too.

Innerscope doesn't have any info regarding Medicare on their site. Might help to create a blog or other info section to help guide seniors to knowing what their options are to get devices covered.
