UPDATE: Force Protection announced last week that its joint venture with General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), known as Force Dynamics, will supply the U.S. military with 125 blast-resistant vehicles in a deal valued at $67.4 million. Force hopes to secure much larger orders going forward, as it competes with eight other companies for $2 billion worth of business under the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle program. FRPT has gained as much as 247% (Jan 17 HOD $24.30) since our Alert Nov 6.
