A callback to the photo of KBLB’s ‘glove’ that could not be identified as such from the photo, I presume.

I find it so curious that people are criticizing Spiber for the products they are making and selling, albeit at modest quantities for the moment, when KBLB has yet to produce a yarn that clothing manufacturers find acceptable.

I remember an adage about ‘People in glass houses should not throw stones.’ For people who are having trouble understanding this adage, KBLB is the one with the glass house.

Just for the record, Spiber is showing the way that rollouts happen. One does not introduce an entire clothing line for sale to a worldwide market right out of the door. Instead, a pre-sale campaign is launched, one or more products are announced, anticipation grows as the sale date nears, the limited edition product(s) sell out, and production is scaled up.

At the moment, KBLB has yet to start a pre-sale campaign much less sell their first beanie. Will that limited-edition beanie arrive in 2024? Or do we have to wait until 2025? Until then, people might want to hold on to their stones.
